I think the Universe is once again conspiring so I figured I would listen when it shoved the words "Short List" in my face about 3 times over the past week.  So this is going to be JUST THAT....a SHORT.  LIST.

WELCOME!

You might know me from my Subject To Fire page, but there are other shenanigans that go on when I am not posting over there so I thought I would simply share my current favourites with you.  In return, I would love it if you shared your faves with me...and who knows...maybe they will become MY next new thing!

CURRENTLY READING:
So I might be feeling a little lofty with my reading goals this month, but since it is a new year and because, #GOALS,  this is what I have on the go:
1.  The Life Changing Magic of Not Giving a Fuck by Sarah Knight...because to be honest...last year, WAYYYY too many fucks were given over things that just didn't compute with success & simplicity.  That needs to change and guess what...this sister is is taking the phrase, "Bless and Release" to a whole nother level. Send prayers. #noactualfucksweregiven

And because I have a bit of a dung heap in one specific room of my house (aka: the former office/current dressing room/closet) and I thought a little inspiration would be good, I just started reading today,
2.  The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up  by Marie Kondo

COME ON LIFE CHANGING MAGIC!!!! DO YOUR THING.

No pressure, Universe.

And lord help me but I am still reading December's book Club selection because, well, kitchen renos:
3.  All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr
I am now officially SUCKED into the vortex and I absolutely love the web the author is weaving!

CURRENTLY EATING:
GUACAMOLE.  And YES I could eat it pretty much every damn day and not be sick of it.  I think I am part Mexican because this is completely innate.  Surpisingly enough...fun fact...til about 2 years ago, it never touched my lips.  Then on a dare, I revisted guacamole.  Now you would have to pry it from my cold, dead, lifeless grasp to get it away from me.  Want my recipe?  Get it HERE in my free downloadable recipe book:  Wendy's Guacamole.  It is life changing.

CURRENT SOULFOOD:
KNITTING.  All the knitting all the time...it.  Is.  Therapy.  Not only does it give me a creative outlet that is the opposite side of the spectrum from my work, but it makes my soul happy.  It keeps my hands busy and my mind working in a different way, it gives me something to pour my love of concocting something new into and is something simply beautiful that connects with who I was and now who I am.  This little habit started at about 8 years old and carried me through to now my 47 years.

CURRENTLY EXCITED ABOUT:
That moment you have been handed EVERY at home fitness program you heart has ever desired, in an ANNUAL ALL ACCESS bundle for one crazy price that you think perhaps maybe they might have made a mistake on?  Yep...that JUST happened.  You know how Amazon Prime works...this is the same kind of set up?  ALL the programs are YOURS for one ENTIRE year.  Pssst...even the new ones that have not YET been released for 2017 will be yours, included, when they do. TRUE STORY.  I am excited because being fit & healthy is a NON-NEGOTIABLE part of my life...this makes it affordable and sure as hell gives you no excuses for not getting it done!  Go HERE if you are in Canada OR HERE if you are in the US for all the deets. Have questions?  Shoot me an email at subjecttofire69@gmail.com

OK I am done with my list...how about you...what are you currently into for January?  Comment below!

Cheers,
Wendy
